This is a splendid project !!! far beyond my expectations; it’s really wonderful. We will have to read it again and again to take it all in.
Truly a Herculean effort. Thank you so much, its amazing. Also a word of thanks to George’s daughter Carolyn they dedicated untold hours, researching, assembling and sizing information & photographs.

George’s experience and expertise in assisting families searching for information on their loved ones is evident. Thanks also to Del Badiuk and Norm Campbell, for their areas of special expertise and Norm’s action in getting our Dunwoodie Crew project on line so quickly.
Our gratitude to all of you for making this project possible, your combined efforts have presented us with a very special and meaningful Memorial for this crew

Carolyn also encourages visitors to the 408 Squadron Association Site to read the story, add their comments, offer suggestions and provide any additional family information.

Diana Linton Jack, nee Friker, granddaughter of Navigator Walter Louis Friker on behalf of her mother Dillin Baker, (Diana Linton Friker).

My mother and I were overjoyed to receive your Email. What an accomplishment !. Have been eagerly awaiting the final product of all the hard work & effort and now feel the history of my grandfather, and those who served alongside him is meticulously preserved. We are honoured by the time and effort taken to create such a wonderful memorial. Thank you.
