I have a good photo (official RCAF photo) of several 408 airmen from about late 1941 in Syerston, Notts England) if you are interested.

I would like to recommend an addition. August 1969 to July 1970 I lived in an OMQ and attended Rivers Collegiate (Grade 10) while my Father (Capt. K.A. Horne CD) served with 408. If my memory serves, in 1970 the Father of my classmate, Mike Young, was killed when his helicopter crashed near the golf course. Shouldn’t he also be remembered?
I’m very happy to have found this site. Very best wishes.
