Lieutenant-Colonel Chris Morrison   Lieutenant-Colonel Chris Morrison was born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario.  He enrolled in the Canadian Forces in 1994 and attended the Royal Military College of Canada, in Kingston, Ontario.  He completed a Bachelors Degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering, graduating with First Class Honors.  He received his Canadian Forces pilot’s wings in 2000, and has completed all of his operational flying with 408 Sqn in Edmonton, during which he has conducted 5 operational deployments: three in Bosnia, and two in Afghanistan, for which he was…

Chief Warrant Officer Dwayne Turple     Chief Warrant Officer Turple joined the Canadian Armed Forces in March 1990. After basic training in Cornwallis he then completed the Performance Oriented Electronics Technician (POET) training at CFB Kingston and the Integral Systems QL3 training at CFB Borden. CWO Turple was posted to Cold Lake, AB in 1991 and while there worked on the CF-5 in 419 Sqn, the CF-18 in 441 Sqn and finally in 1 AMS in the Automatic Test lab. HONORARY COLONEL

  HCOL  J’lyn Nye  J’lyn Nye was appointed as Honorary Colonel of 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron, Edmonton, AB, in July 2015. Honorary Colonel Nye was born in Smiths Falls, ON and raised in Belleville and Sault Ste.Marie.  She graduated from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, ON, with a Broadcasting Radio and Television Diploma. Currently the Afternoon Talk Show host at 630 CHED in Edmonton, she began her broadcasting career at CKPR Television in Thunder Bay where she spent seven years as the 6 o’clock News Anchor.
